Terms and Conditions 

RESPONSIBILITY
Blame It On The Light provides educational photo tours with a local flavor. Our qualified professional photographers will organize a tour unique to your group. Blame It On The Light and its Tour guides are not responsible for any other travel-related services. 

Blame It On The Light and its tour photographers shall not be held liable for (A) any damage, or loss of, property. Injury, or death of, persons involved in the tour - directly or indirectly, or by an act or omission Blame It On The light. (B) Any loss or damage due to delay, cancellation, or disruption either caused by laws, regulations, acts or failures to act, demands, orders, or laws imposed by any government. Or by acts of God or any other cause(s) beyond our control. The participant waives any claim against Blame It On The Light and/or its photo tour guides for any such loss, damage, injury, or death.

By registering with a photo tour, the participant certifies that they do not have any mental, physical, or disability that would create a hazard to them or other participants. Blame It On The light reserves the right at their sole discretion to accept or not accept, or remove any participant on a photo tour, without penalty. Blame It On The Light also reserves the right to make changes in the itinerary whenever, in judgment or conditions warrant, or if they find it necessary for the comfort, convenience, or safety of participants.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Basis of Rates: Some tours may require additional fees to be incurred, such as; parking permits, park permits for groups, etc.

Eligibility: Our Tours are for anyone able to participate, interested in photography, expanding their knowledge and just want to have a good time. Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Included in Tour: Local tours. Local and educational photography tips and tricks. 

Not Included: Transportation, accommodations, tips/gratuity, permits (may or may not be included), additional activities that may not be part of the group tour, medical expenses, meals, cancellation insurance, personal expenses, or any other items not specifically included.

Payments, Cancellations, and Refunds: To reserve a tour payment is required up front. Payments may be made by credit card or Paypal. Full payment is required when the reservation is accepted. All cancellation notices must be received in writing and prior to 30 days of the tour. If a participant cancels 15 days or less prior to tour, a refund minus an administrative fee of 50%.   Arriving late or leaving a group tour while in progress, will not result in a refund. Blame It On the Light reserves the right to cancel any tour due to a tour not being economically infeasible to operate, unforeseen circumstances, or due to concerns with respect to the safety, health, or welfare of the participants. A tour may also be rescheduled, if necessary, due to unforeseen circumstances. If a tour is canceled a full refund of monies paid or if a tour is cancelled due to an event that made it infeasible to continue the tour as planned, a refund and/or credit toward a future tour equivalent to monies paid may be given. If a tour is cancelled while in progress, participants will receive a prorated refund based on the length of the tour. Blame It On The Light has no responsibility for any expenses, including any non-refundable expenses, incurred by participants in preparing for a tour.

Itinerary Changes: The itineraries and tour guide may be subject to modification and change. Every reasonable effort will be made to provide the tour as planned, but changes may still occur after final tour plans are defined.

Documentation: Participants are responsible for obtaining any documents required for their participation a tour; such as a valid passport or ID, permits. Failure to obtain documents does not change the terms and conditions. Any extra costs incurred will be the participant’s responsibility.

Health Requirements: Participants must be in good physical and mental health. Any physical condition, diet, or treatment requiring special attention must be reported in writing when the reservation is made. Participants should consult a doctor for any specific medical advice about any activities incurred during the photo tour. Some tours may require extensive walking/hiking and carrying of heavy equipment.

Medical Authorization and Coverage: 
Participants cover all medical expenses and holds Blame It On The Light harmless from all personal accidents, medical expenses, medical evacuation, loss of effects, all medical costs and all other expenses which might arise as a result of loss, damage, injury, delay or inconvenience occurring to the participant, or in the absence of this medical insurance coverage. Participants agrees to pay all costs that may incur on the participant’s behalf.

Photography: Blame It On The Light Tour Guides reserve the right to take photographs or videos during the tour and to use it for promotional or commercial use. By making a reservation participants are in fact signing a Model Release form, meaning they agree to allow his/her likeness to be used without compensation to the participant. If the participant prefers that not be used, they must notify us in writing prior to the tour.

Copyright of all photographs, video, and other related materials shall belong to the photographer. Participants grant Blame It On The Light, a non-exclusive, worldwide, irrevocable license to use any images or other materials provided to us, in any media for the following limited purposes: editorial use or promotional use. 

Dispute Resolution: If there is a complaint, please inform us in writing or verbally while on the tour. This allows us the chance to satisfy and fix the issue, if at all possible. All disputes will be otherwise be governed by Skagit County. All parties agree they will attempt in good faith to settle any and all disputes arising.  Mediation in Skagit County, under the supervision of a mutually agreed upon mediator, will be used, if an agreement cannot be reached.

This agreement does not waive or modify any liability release agreed by the participant.
